I'm not only building on my 62 Chrysler right now but also restore an old T-bird promo which I bought abot 20 years ago.
I have sanded off some of the emblems and I've dropped it in the front + put on modern Wheels.

The grille/bumpers have been rechromed using Spazstix Mirror Chrome Aerosol-spray, topped with their special clearcoat and on top of that furniture polish!!!! Doesn't look that bad....

This will be a mildly customized car with some dechroming and Bulletshaped taillights:

Started to prepair the body for paint. Lot of dents in the plastic to be fixed and I had to repair the left rear fin. Got a "semimodern" custom steeringwheel from my parts stash.

Thanks! The Steering-wheel has about the same diameter, or even a tad smaller, than the stock one. I believe it's the angle of the Picture that makes it look a bit big?!?!?! The Steering-wheel will most likely be painted semiflat White or....maybe....woodgrained.
I kept the interior all stock and just added the black paint and BMF.

Almost finished now. Just put the Fuzzy Dice in the interior and mounted the windows to the body.

This "fastbuild" was done entirely to help me out of a building-slumber and help me find the true happiness in building again, and...I managed. There's no finish at all and I used the old scratched windows instead of making new ones. But, I had fun doing this one and all of a sudden model-building feels great again!
