The paint is great ! It suits the car very well. What did you use ? (spray can, airbrush ?)

Thanks, the paint is real car-paint shot through air-brush.

Got problems with paint....so doing the interior while waiting for paint to dry and then sand again.

I have repositioned the emergency brake, thinned out and shortened the shifter and scratchbuilt a heat faucet.

It probably wont be visable when finished, but I scratchbuilt levers for seat-adjustment to the front seats:

Hi gang!

Yesterday i picked this one up again. I have now wetsanded the pink paint and will hopefully put on the last 1-2 coats of pink today or tomorrow, and when that paint has fully cured it's time for the black roof! Still not fully convinced abot the wheels..... Keep testing other variations, but we'll see about that further on!

I love the wheels but they look HUGE under such a small car.

IMHO: Japan/Fujimi-style 14 or 15" alloys would be much more suited. That or steelies, if you wanna go more traditional ...

Just out of curiosity: did you ever tried Astro Supreme?

The thing is, the wheels are supposed to look huge....that's a very modern trend in sweden and the US at the moment. I have 3-4 more Ghias to build and they will probably get a more traditional look, I just thought I'd do something "out of my comfort zone" this time

However, this project has stalled due to other builds right now. There's a Humvee and a 1960 Plymouth Belvedere being built on my desk at the moment!
