´50 Chevy Pickup - Mental Violet by Mr Nilsson

My latest build, inspired by a sketch of Cory Vaughn.
Each year we have a model "build of" here in Sweden, we all get the same model (´50 Chevy pickup this year) and we have one month to finish it. You can only use what comes within the box except for wheels and engine, so no kit-bashing or plastic-card is allowed.
The cab is chopped 5" and sectioned 5", window frames in doors removed, hood is de-sectioned 7" and extended the sides to get a nice flow towards the cab. The bed is shortened 15" and narrowed 6", rear fenders widened 3" each and I carved out a new wheel opening. In the front I used the left fender on the right side and vice versa. Shortened the front fenders 7" and reworked them to get the same shape as the lower hood edge. Built the outer side with scrap peices and carved them to shape.
In the interior I made my own tuck´n´roll pattern in the stock bench seat with a saw and file and modified the stock steering wheel.

même si ça reste parfaitement executé, le résultat me laisse sceptique

Le kit est particulièrement bien fait, ce qui me choque se sont évidement les ailes qui dans l'autres sens et moins basse , ou même hi boy aurait pour moi donné une ligne plus belles, comme ça c'est quand m^me trés zarbi.

Hi do you have the wip of this build?? I'm interesting to see the fender fabrication!!
