You should have done it red no? But yes its a good idea ! I did some on this model with a small wire to get it in place !

I've googled it (and I also work at 4 different airport now and then) and these tags come in red, blue and yellow (maybe more???). I thought the yellow one was easier to spot on this model

Pretty cool and amazing showcar, but for sure, those rear wheels don't fit the project at all!
I think that big slicks would be quite better on such huge rim.
using bike grips is a good idea, but not on a vintage show car like yours.
